Synopsis:
“It’s rainin’. And the Elbow’s risin’”
A raging flood threatens the city and nearby Indian Reserve as three generations of Calgarians struggle to come together to keep from going under. With a surging river, a looming financial crisis, surprising sibling decisions, and an aged patriarch trapped in time, flood waters ascending the stairs almost seems the least of their worries. And that’s leaving aside the problem of what must be done with great granddaddy Gampy who’s apparently made an alliance with an invisible spectre. The question is can the family survive and still succeed in creating a legacy worth inheriting by future generations? When push comes to shove just how much are they willing to sacrifice for the greater good?  Perhaps none of it will matter if the rain keeps falling and the water keeps rising.
